Logo
The logo is the face of Team Munich - it stands for us as a club, our energy, our community and our values. Whether on the jersey, the club flyer or the Instagram post: it is our most important recognisable symbol - our branding. To make sure it looks strong and consistent everywhere, you'll find everything you need to know here.
Structure of the logo
Our logo consists of two elements: the figurative mark - an oval with a truncated white „m“ in it - and the word mark „team münchen“ , which is deliberately written in lower case. Not a mistake, but our programme: our understatement.
In most variants, the subline „My sports club“ complements the word mark at the bottom. It is more important than it appears at first glance - it immediately makes it clear: this is about sport, and yours at that.
The figurative mark and word mark are always used together. In exceptional cases - for example as a profile picture - the figurative mark can stand alone. The word mark is never used without the figurative mark.
Main logos
We have two equally important main logos - neither is more important than the other.
The Classic Blue Logo is the classic version: versatile and works in many contexts - from official documents to club materials of all kinds.
The Rainbow logo expresses who we are at a glance - an open, queer sports club where everyone is welcome. Whenever the context allows, it is the first choice.
Both main logos are used as standard with the bottom line and are best shown to advantage on calm, light-coloured backgrounds. There are separate colour variants for dark backgrounds.

Secondary logos
In situations where the subline does not add any value - for example in internal communication, on social media or for repeated use - both logos can also be used without a subline.

Secondary logosSingle colour logos
The single colour logo is used when a colour display is not possible - for example when stamping, embroidering or printing in black and white. Unlike the main logos, it also works on coloured backgrounds or images. It is a fallback solution - wherever colour is possible, use the Classic Blue or Rainbow logo.
It is available in two versions: with and without a bottom line.

Single colour logosLogo on dark backgrounds
Our logo is best displayed on white or calm, light-coloured backgrounds - this makes it appear clear and strong. However, if the background is dark, please use the variant in which the word mark is shown in white. This ensures that the logo remains clearly legible even on dark surfaces.

Small logo sizes
From a width of 44 mm (Print) or. 128 px (Digital), the subline should be omitted - otherwise it would no longer be legible.
The logo itself should never be smaller than 22 mm resp. 64 px be displayed. If in doubt: If you can no longer read the font, the logo is too small.

Clear Space
There always needs to be some space around the logo - the so-called clear space. It corresponds to the height of the „h“ in „münchen“ and applies to all sides. This ensures that the logo is always clearly recognisable.
Dos & Don'ts
What you should do
Always use the original files from this website - colours and proportions are then automatically correct.
Place the logo on calm backgrounds - the main logos are best placed on light-coloured surfaces, the single colour logo is also suitable for coloured or photographic backgrounds.
You should leave that alone
Please do not stretch, distort or rotate the logo - always pull proportionally on the corner when scaling.
Please do not change the colours - even well-intentioned adjustments dilute our brand.
Do not add any shadows, gradients or other effects, and never show the logo only partially - except for the logo as an icon, where this is part of the design.
