Our fonts at a glance
Fonts characterise how we are read and perceived - almost as much as the logo itself. At Team München, we rely on two fonts that work together perfectly: an expressive headline font and a clear body text font.
Team Munich uses two fonts: Boldonse for headings and DM Sans for the body text. Together they create a clear, modern and unmistakable image - energetic where it should be, calm and legible where it is needed.

Both fonts are available free of charge and with a free licence - you don't have to worry about costs.
Boldonse - the headline font
Boldonse is our font for big appearances. Bold, expressive and with a slight retro touch, it sets accents and gives our communication energy and personality. It is used exclusively for headlines - in body text it would impair legibility and lose its impact.
Boldonse is only available in one cut - regular. That's all we need: The font is effective through its shape alone.

BoldonseDM Sans - the continuous text font
DM Sans is the calm counterpart to Boldonse. Clear, modern and easy to read - it stays in the background and lets the content speak for itself. We use DM Sans exclusively in the straight weights - no italics - and in the following weights: Regular (400) for the continuous text, Semibold (600) for highlighting and Bold (700) sparingly for special emphasis.
Very thin cuts such as Light or Thin are not used - they often appear too delicate and can impair legibility.

Boldonse and DM Sans complement each other through their contrast: Boldonse generates attention, DM Sans ensures legibility. This principle - strong headline, calm body text - runs through all of Team München's communication.
Dos & Don'ts
What you should do
Always use the original fonts that you can download from this website. That way everything should always fit.
Use Boldonse exclusively for headlines and DM Sans for body text - in the defined styles Regular, Semibold and, if required, Bold.
You should leave that alone
Do not use any other fonts - even well-intentioned alternatives such as Arial or Helvetica deviate from our standardised appearance.
Do not use DM Sans in italics or Boldonse in continuous text - both impair readability and impact.
Don't use very thin cuts - the contrast with Boldonse would be too strong and look unsteady.
